Legal resource library

Legal information designed to be checked and kept current

The ILS blog is organised around legal questions, primary sources and visible review dates. It is not a volume-content feed and does not republish legacy articles until their legal accuracy has been checked.

How ILS legal resources are published

Primary sources first

BOE, EUR-Lex, ministries, regulators, courts and other official sources are prioritised.

Named legal author

Legal resources identify the responsible author or reviewer.

Visible review dates

Time-sensitive content shows when it was last legally reviewed.

No automatic migration

Legacy articles are reviewed, updated, merged or retired before republication.

Legacy content

Older ILS articles are being legally re-reviewed

The previous Odoo site contains useful immigration content, but many articles were written for the 2025 legal framework. Because Spanish immigration law changed again in 2026, those articles are not republished automatically.

U.S. content

U.S.-specific acquisition content stays with Spain Law NYC

ILS focuses on Spain-side/Tenerife legal delivery. Articles whose primary intent is U.S.-consular, New York or American-buyer acquisition are evaluated against the Spain Law NYC content architecture before migration.
